Nathan Norris

Nathan was a keen basketball player growing up, representing Wales and competing internationally through his Teens and early Twenties. Nathan took that passion for sport into university studying at the University of Wales Bangor, where he met and married his wife Laura. Nathan then went on to complete a strength and conditioning internship with Sheffield Eagles, where he also studied for a number of strength and conditioning related qualifications. Alongside this he gained experience coaching, helping to assist in the strength and conditioning delivery for the academy and 1st team squads. He then followed that up by taking on the role as Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Academy Squad at the Sheffield Eagles. Nathan was responsible for overseeing and delivering the teams Athletic Performance Pathway. During this time Nathan was part of the coaching team that led the Under 20 Sheffield Eagles to the Championship Grand Final. Alongside this he has also coached a number of ultra-marathon runners, some of whom successfully completed the coast to coast run and the Marathon Desables. In his spare time Nathan competes in Olympic Weightlifting, and is a British Masters Silver Medallist. He believes getting people to move well alongside helping them become faster, fitter and stronger is vital in improving their health and well-being.
