We have a tried and tested process, which will work for you… as it has already worked for professional sportsmen and women, Olympic Athletes and even for Ken, an inspirational 65-year old brain tumor survivor.
[info_box1 title=”Your Consultation”]
Everything starts with a consultation to discuss your goals, everybody is different and we need to understand where you want to be.
This not only allows us to plan the technical aspects of your programme, but just as importantly, it allows us to explain to you the thinking and science behind your programme. As they say knowledge is power!
[info_box1 title=”Your Assessment”]
This is where our years of working with high performance athletes comes into it’s own. Our one to one assessment evaluates how you move biomechanically and highlights any weaknesses, imbalances or reduced ranges of motion you may have.
We now know where we want to be, through your goals consultation, and we know where we are now, through your assessment.
Your programme starts with addressing any of the issues highlighted in your assessment. This could be, a lack of core stability and general flexibility due to years of sitting behind a desk, or, a specific imbalance and loss of range of motion due to an injury.
This will give you the basic building blocks, which allows us to push on and hit your goals. You can watch people in gyms all over the country being given exercises that they are clearly struggling with because they are either too advanced or the client simply hasn’t been coached properly in how to execute them. It’s common sense, if you don’t have strong foundations, you can’t build anything that will last, and at SMART FITNESS our individually formulated programmes are designed to help you build and build moving forward hitting goal after goal. Your programme is continually monitored and adjusted every 4-6 weeks to keep you moving forward.
At SMART FITNESS, we keep our clients moving up the performance ladder through introducing new exercises, movements and support complexes just at the right time for them. The ability to know when and how to do this only comes from years of studying and coaching world-class athletes. Indeed we believe everybody has the right to train like an athlete, maybe not in terms of intensity and loads used, but certainly in terms of philosophy and development.
